In 2015 Phil Jones and Alex McKechnie teamed up again to celebrate Jones’s forty years in the music business at a gig at Liverpool’s 02 Academy. The two had first got together in 1984 when they were known as Two’s A Crowd after Jones’s group Afraid Of Mice had fallen apart. After several local releases, Two’s A Crowd became Up And Running and signed with President Records. Their first CD album, released in 1995, “Not For Sale”, was followed by “Platonic” two years later from which a single, “Justice”, dedicated to those who died in the Hillsborough Stadium disaster was released.
